Jessica Ashley Kahal Performed At the Kennedy Center as Part of a Special Invitational

For Jessica Ashley Kahal, securing a place in her high school choir, called “Varsity Voices” wasn’t a big challenge, thanks to her outstanding skills as a flutist. She immediately got noticed, and thereafter gave many impressive performances both solo and along with the school choir.  

Going on tour to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia as a member of her high school choir was one of the memories that Jessica Ashley Kahal would cherish forever. She was in the women’s jazz chorus, called “Here Comes Treble,” and performed at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitational. While her high school choir sang “I’m Beginning to See the Light”, The Men’s Doo Wop group also gave an impressive performance. They are even pictured singing in front of NBC Studios in New York City. 

Later, Jessica Kahal’s high school Orchestra performed their winter concert at the Armstrong Theater. The main highlights of the program included the Theme from Forest Gump, Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, and the Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement l. Kahal, who was the featured flutist and featured student conductor in the concert also won huge appreciation for her performance.
