Flutist Jessica Ashley Kahal Made Her Mark in the World of Music at a Really Young Age

Jessica Ashley Kahal is an American flutist who has won many awards throughout her career. Starting her journey in the world of music at a really young age, Kahal has been lucky to have got the opportunity to perform across different audiences across the country.

As a member of her high school choir, “Varsity Voices,” Jessica Ashley Kahal went on tour to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia. She was in the woman's jazz chorus, called “Here Comes Treble,” and performed at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitational. They gave an amazing performance on “I’m Beginning to See the Light” and left the audience wanting for more. Apart from them, there was also the Men’s Doo Woo group that performed and are pictured singing in front of NBC Studios in NYC till date.

Performing with her high school Orchestra their winter concert at the Armstrong Theater is also one of Jessica Ashley Kahal’s most cherished memories. The orchestra program consisted of the Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra, with highlights including the Theme from Forrest Gump, Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, and the Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement I. Kahal was the featured flutist and a featured student conductor in the concert, and did a great job in both her roles.
