Jessica Kahal Is an Accomplished Flutist with Outstanding Versatility

Jessica Kahal is an American flutist who has won numerous competitions and has performed as a soloist with several orchestras not just in the US but around the world. The initial opportunities to perform in front of a wider audience came her way when she was still in high school.

As a member of her high school Orchestra, Jessica Kahal got the chance to perform with them during their winter concert at the renowned Armstrong Theater. This was a big opportunity for her to showcase her talent at such a large scale. Making the most of this opportunity, she did a great job in both her roles in the concert, including that of the featured flutist and a featured student conductor. The orchestra program consisted of the Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra; and together, they sang songs such as the theme from Forrest Gump, Schumann's Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, the Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement I, and more.

Jessica Kahal also went on tour to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia with her high school choir. She was in the Woman's Jazz Chorus, called “Here Comes Treble,” and performed at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitation. The choir sang “I’m Beginning to See the Light” and won huge appreciation from the audience.

Kahal also performed with her high school choir in a candlelight memorial for the 9/11 attacks on her all-time favorite “Danny Boy”.
