Jessica Kahal has been the member of her high school Orchestra. She got the opportunity to perform with them in their winter concert at Armstrong Theater. The orchestra program consisted of the Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra. Pertaining to the highlights of the program, it included the Theme from Forrest Gump, Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, and the Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement I.
She could still recall the performance that is so close to her heart. She performed in a candlelight memorial for the September 11th terrorist attacks in the school’s amphitheater. While the combined choirs sang “This Is My Country” and “America the Beautiful” on this emotion-charged date, Kahal chose to perform for her solo flute performance.
She performed “Danny Boy” in a solo flute performance as a tribute to those who lost their lives during terrorist attacks. Jessica Kahal gained fame during her high school days. Overall, she has the ability to keep audience in awe with her performance.
She got a chance to tour with her school’s choir called Varsity Voices to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia. She was in the Woman’s Jazz Chorus, called “Here Comes Treble,” and performed at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitation.
Overall, Jessica Kahal has performed globally in a variety of genres from jazz, pop, chamber, orchestral, to classical solo, and more.
